On this Icon and State of Mind of the week, we would like to give a tribute to the genius Robin Williams who passed away last week.
The 63-year-old comedian, famous for his roles in films like Dead Poets Society and Good Will Hunting, was a larger than life character on and off the screen and could always be counted on to find the humour in any situation.
Robin Williams was an amazing actor that could make you laugh until your face hurt. He could make you cry like a river and he could make you question your own life because he was just that good. Committing his life to make others happy, he was dealing with depression in his own life that nobody would be able to understand. Hiding behind his comedy and possibly his Hollywood celebrity, outsiders could not feel or visualize the hurt that he was experiencing.
