Evelina Kravaev-Söderberg—the head designer for the H&M recently opened her door to offer a peek into her 1920´s appartement in central Stockholm, Sweden that she´s appointed with a mix of antique Eames pieces and trendy, inexpensive H&M accessories.
The apartment itself is airy and spacious with an old soul. Kravaev-Söderberg’s home demonstrates her ability to mix old with new, high with low, and trendy with timeless. While her designs for H&M Home may be full of exuberant color and eclectic style, her home is a tranquil escape “When I come home I need to relax from the busy world of design,” she says.
There are equal parts high and low in her apartment as well, back dropped by crisp white walls and warm parquet floors.
With a background in fashion, having studied in Paris and designed clothing for H&M’s Divided Department, Evelina knows how to translate a fashion trend into décor.
