The sun was shining, the company was really nice and the food was yummy. You have a lot of choices at the buffet, classical Swedish food as well as pancakes and a very nice desserts table. The restaurant is built in the shape of a large glass veranda, with an open space in the middle.
Hasselbacken is a century old restaurant beautifully situated on the lovely island of Djurgården, right across from the amusement park Gröna Lund. And Close to Skansen and Vasa Museum. Nearby points of interest also include National Museum and Stockholm Palace.
The atmosphere is very friendly. It seems to be very much families oriented. So if you want a quiet Sunday brunch, it is probably not the best for you, unless the weather is very nice and you are lucky enough to have a table outdoors. You also need to be patient when it comes to the buffet area. The queue can be extremely long and a little chaos. Beside these two points, I would definitely recommend a brunch here and you can have a stroll at beautiful Djurgården afterward to digest.
A really bright and nice environment with big panorama windows. It is outstandingly beautiful in summertime.
