Who is behind this Concept store ?
In 1980 Martine and Armand Hadida opened the first L’Eclaireur boutique in a tiny basement space of the Galerie Marchande at number 84 Champs-Elysées. A concept store with a flair for design they showcased unique products like Timberlands and the work of up and coming designers. Later in 1990 they opened a larger space on Rue des Rosiers in the Marais, which became one of the first stores to blend fashion, furniture and decoration. They now have five renowned locations around the city.
Fast-forward 30 odd years and five boutiques later. L’eclaireur is now known for unique sparking interiors and the best selection of avant-garde fashion and decorative art designers.
L´Eclaireur is not just a shop; it´s a fantasy in which everyone has to find a story for themselves. Within the idiom of L’Eclaireur, shoppers are guests and are genuinely welcomed as such by every staff member.
Here, within a retail environment that would normally highlight merchandise, the visitor plays a privileged role in the act of its ‘unveiling’.
